Report Birth Abroad
Personal appearances by minor children and parents are required for all birth registrations in order to obtain a Consular Report of Birth Abroad for U.S. citizen children born in France. Please refer to the following document for the checklist, further instructions, and required forms and documents or refer to the Embassy in Paris website for further information. You may make an appointment in Rennes to submit your child’s application by sending an email to usarennes@state.gov.
